Antony John 'Tony' Blinken is the advisor for national security policy for Joe Biden, Vice President of the United States.[1]

He served previously as a Senior Fellow at the Center for New American Security, Democratic Staff Director of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (from 2002 to 2008), and a member of the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition team (from November 2008 to January 2009), among other positions.

Personal life

Blinken is married to Evan Ryan, Assistant for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison for Vice President Joseph R. Biden since November 2008.[2][3]
